April Purchases

Happy Sunday!

As we're approaching the end of April I've decided to look back and share with you my purchases this month. Let's begin!

I haven't used this product yet however I've heard from others that it's supposed to be a good one?

I absolutely love this body mist. My friend recommended it to me and she couldn't have been more right! It's very light but has a very tropical/fruity smell. Love it.

Not Particularly interesting or anything...

I read over on 'Beauty, Lifestyle, Ramblings' that if you put just a little blob of sudocream on a spot overnight (yes I'm aware it's for babies' bums) then your spot will disappear for the next day. Thus, I decided to go out and buy it and try it the next time I have a mahoosive spot.

I read over on another blog that a lipbalm from The Body Shop was one of her favourites and as I was in need of a new one (I'm a massive lip balm consumer) I decided to buy this one as it was relatively cheap too (definitely not suggesting that looking at the cheapest item is the best was to make purchases).

I'm not a big fan of Claire's and wouldn't usually buy anything from there however as I was looking around with my friends I caught my eye on this bun wrap and absolutely loved it. In fact I absolutely loved most of the bun wraps there. It's such a cute accessory to add when you're having a bad hair day and so simple to put on!

I absolutely love these three new pieces of clothing! All three items go so well with so many other clothes in my wardrobe and the skirt fits me perfectly around the waist (which is unusual as I have a very small one which makes it hard to find trousers that fit).
(Unfortunately I could not find the T-shirt online therefore could not put the link on my blog.)

I hope you've enjoyed this week's post and I shall see you next week!

The TMI Tag

Happy Easter!

I've been tagged by Nicole Bartlett from Beauty, Lifestyle, Ramblings to do the TMI Tag. Do also check out her one (by clicking on her blog name) because I think her answers are just brilliant! Righty roo, let's get started!

1: What are you wearing?

A navy blue button up shirt with foxes on, a dark red thin pullover thing, a treble clef necklace, a black A-line skirt, white lacy ankle socks and grey plimsolls. I know it sounds weird but it does match, I promise.

2: Ever been in love?

My bed and I have a pretty special relationship.

3: Ever had a terrible breakup?

Nope.

Mini Egg Cookies

Heyo!

Since Easter is approaching I wanted to bake something within the theme. I had a little look online and I came across this recipe on the GoodToKnow website. It looked easy enough so I of course had a go. They turned out great and tasted amazing.

Ingredients:

*100g Butter
*100g Light Brown Sugar
*1 Medium Egg
*200g Self Raising Flour
*1 Pack Mini Eggs

Method:

1. Preheat oven to 180°C (Gas mark 4) and line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.

2. Add all the ingredients (except the mini eggs) into a large mixing bowl. Then use a spoon or your hands to combine together into dough. Tip: The ingredients were too dry thus it wouldn't stick together to make a doughy mixture. To solve this problem I added a "pinch" or two of water. DO NOT add more than a "pinch" at a time as it can get too moist very quickly.

3. Put half of the pack of mini eggs in a small cellophane/sandwich bag. Crush the eggs using the top of a rolling pin.

4. Evenly knead the crushed mini eggs into the dough.

5. Using the dough, make golf sized balls, flatten them and put them on a baking tray. Tip: If you want smaller cookies, make the balls about half the size of a golf ball.

6. Push a few of your remaining mini eggs into your cookies.

7. Put in the oven for 7 - 10 minutes. Tip: Remove immediately when they are slightly golden. DO NOT wait for them to harden in the oven. They will do that when they cool down.

8. Leave to cool for about 15 minutes.

I really do recommend this recipe. It's super easy and looks very cute. My sister couldn't even believe they were homemade.

Good Luck!

Lush Haul

Happy Sunday!

Two weeks ago I went out into central London and bought a few items from lush (hence the title 'Lush Haul'). Apologies for the not so fantastic photos. It was late therefore, there was poor lighting and I was very tired.
 Nevertheless, enjoy!

Honey Bee (£3.25) - Bath Bomb

Last week I tried the 'Honey Bee' bath bomb and it smelt great however, once I drained all the water out, the colour of the bath bomb stuck to the bath tub and stained it! I do not recommend this product (unless you want to be scrubbing at your bath tub for half an hour).
Sea Vegetable (£3.10 per 100g) - Soap

Stepping Stone (£2.95) - Foot Scrub

Golden Egg (£3.50) - Bath Bomb

Although the 'Golden Egg' does look a bit
like a potato in the photo, it looked a
lot better in the shop with all the sparkle
 and glitter still on.
Space Girl (£2.25) - Bath Bomb

That is it guys! I shall see you next week.
